The list below outlines the general steps involved in most projects, but we are also able to provide various cost-effective bundles to maximise the sales and/or rental prices of investment properties. - Phase 1: Initial Consultation (Free)
One of Global Interior Design's professional interior designers will visit your property to evaluate your requirements and discuss your needs. - Phase 2: The Journey Begins
We take your brief, documenting your needs and wishes. We will suggest a few design concepts and explore your preferences.
We take a survey of the rooms to be redesigned, discuss your budget and sign the BIDA (British Interior Design Association) contract for the project. - Phase 3: Destination “Inspired Design”!
We generate a comprehensive design concept and present a set of plans, together with colour and sample boards to show you our vision.
We create a set of detailed plans for contractors – i.e. lighting, electrical, plumbing, tiling, decorating. If necessary, we'll submit a planning application to your local council and any contractual work will be put out to tender. - Phase 4: Mission Accomplished ... From Drab to Fab!
This is where we implement the entire design by co-ordinating contractors, providing on-site supervision and making sure you can get on with your life with minimal upheaval.
