Earlier this month I went for a relaxing swim with a friend at her prestigious London health club. And I noticed immediately the fabulous lighting scheme that had clearly been put together by a very talented London interior design team! In the long passageway linking the changing room with the swimming pool itself, the interior design professional had installed various effects and intensities of light in order to transform the proportions of the space. At the end, the interior design featured a dramatic, spotlight-illuminated mural that provided a real focal point and utterly captivated my attention. At night, the interior design concept calls for feature lighting in an enclosed London-style courtyard garden to well up and splash into the glass-fronted pool area. Overall, another great example of how interior design can boost our well-being in the unlikeliest of spaces!
