Recently I was asked about my best practices for bathroom design in London. Here's how I responded.

1. A lot of my work as an interior designer is all about maximising the available space. I know better than anyone how tiny some London shower rooms can be. I try to focus my efforts on usability and functionality.

2. Don’t go overboard on the colour scheme. Interior designers know that the best colours are often fairly neutral. A fresh, clean bathroom design is best – after all, think about the time one spends in a bathroom.

3. Employ excellent tradespeople. Interior designers know that bathroom design is one thing, but bathroom implementation is quite another. There are many London plumbers who can expertly fit out any interior designer's bathroom specifications for very reasonable prices.
